Keeping the Theme

So as I realized blogging is much harder than it sounds, I also realized that putting my ideas about events in words is a challenging task. Since I was younger I found a passion for detail, creativeness, originality and helping other people see and create their visions. I found that event planning was a great way to combine all of my passions  into one position. I want to share my passion with you through this blog but I also want to stress the importance of creating an event that is original and illustrates you and only you.

In order to create this perfect event of yours you need to make a list of these dreams and visions that you'd like your guests to experience and see, then together intertwine all the different parts to create an event that can only be made for you.

Your first thought in creating your event will not be on the seating placement, but it is still a good place to display and intertwine your theme to create a graceful event.

Questions you might want to ask yourself is in order to brainstorm ideas for planning:

What is the theme?
Do you have a color scheme/preference?
Do you want seating assignments that are recyclable or ones that can be taken home by the guests?
What is the event for?
(If a wedding) is there something that represents your relationship with your partner? (from your first date under the stars to the moment you were proposed to in an apple field)

You want to capture the relationship between you and the event, the special memories and qualities between you and whatever it may be that the event is for, and find a way to share it with your guests. One way of doing this is by seating arrangements.

Here is just ONE of the many examples of a creative way to have your guests find their seats at any event, these flowers are made from Styrofoam, fabric and adhesive tape. Your guests can take them home with them at the end of the event which is a great creative way to have your guests remember a great day.
Again this is just one idea and as I continue to blog I won't be writing as much but showing other ideas to make your event memorable and capture the essence of your dreams and visions for your special day.
